State Police

-John H. Hornberger-Wade, 28, of Guys Mills, was traveling west on State Highway 77 in Blooming Valley when he turned left into the Blooming Valley General Store and into the path of a vehicle being driven by Jerry L. Brown, 44, of Titusville, resulting into a crash at 2:42 p.m. Nov. 18. A passenger in Brown’s vehicle, Audrey L. Shook, 49, of Meadville, was injured. The extent of her injuries was unknown. Both drivers and the two occupants in Brown’s vehicle were wearing seat belts.

-Judith A. Bernosky, 60, of Saegertown, was traveling west on North Mosiertown Road, Cussewago Township, at the intersection of Center Road at 6:16 p.m. Nov. 23 when she crossed over into the oncoming lane and struck and embankment. The vehicle continued west and off the northside of the road and into a dirt embankment, rolled over onto its roof and landed in the east bound lane of North Mosiertown Road. Bernosky was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

-Michael L. Whitney, 21, of Titusville, was driving west on State Highway 198 near its intersection with Independance Drive in Saegertown at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 24 when he failed to negotiate a curve, crossed over the double yellow lines and into the oncoming lane of travel. The vehicle struck a small shrub, crossed over a private driveway and struck a  large rock and shrub before coming to rest. Whitney was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

-Mark K. Anthony, 49, of Venango, was traveling west on Gospel Hill Road in Venango at 9:35 a.m. Nov. 25 when he drove over the yellow line and into the oncoming lane of travel before hitting a large tree. Anthony was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
