MEADVILLE — Crashes

State Police

-Wendy S. Montello, 41, of Andover, Ohio, was injured in a one-van crash on Route 198 in Conneautville at 2:57 a.m. Saturday. She was driving west when her vehicle went off the road and struck a guardrail/bridge abutment. Montello wasn’t wearing a seat belt. She was taken to Meadville Medical Center and released after treatment. Conneautville’s volunteer fire department and ambulance service assisted at the scene.

Crimes

State Police

-A heavyset white woman with dark brown hair tied in a ponytail failed to pay for a gasoline purchase at Country Fair on Route 322 in Vernon Township at 5:58 p.m. Friday. The woman was driving a newer green Ford Ranger pickup truck and had covered the registration plate with a blue and white piece of paper.

-Four catalytic converters were cut from four different vehicles at Peeple’s Auto Repair, Main Street, Saegertown, while the vehicles were parked for service between 9 p.m. Friday and 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

n Some $250 worth of copper tubing and electrical wire was removed from a home on West State Road in West Shenango Township between March 1 and April 16.

-Unknown persons cut four spark plug wires on a Linesville area woman’s 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix while it was parked at her home on Beaver Center Road in Conneaut Township between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.
