Magisterial District Judge

-Megan M. Powers, 25, of 2000 Meadowland Drive, Meadville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of false reports. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 25 in Vernon Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Anthony W. Moore, 29, of 796 Water St., Meadville, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on charges of manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver, criminal use of a communication device and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 17 in Meadville. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $10,000 bond.

Crashes

State Police

-An unknown driver lost control of a vehicle while traveling east on Route 322 in West Shenango Township at 2:45 a.m. Feb. 25, according to state police. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway, turned onto its side and struck a tree. The driver fled the crash, police said. The investigation continues.

-Meghan Wickert, 34, of Saegertown, was traveling east on Route 198 in Hayfield Township when her vehicle left the roadway and impacted a tree at 12:30 a.m. Feb. 26, according to state police. She and a 10-year-old passenger were reportedly transported to Meadville Medical Center for minor injuries. Hayfield VFD assisted on scene.

-Nicholas M. Lindsey, 21, of Titusville, was traveling south on Route 98 in Hayfield Township when his vehicle left the roadway at 7:18 a.m. Feb. 27, according to state police. His vehicle reportedly traveled up an embankment, rolled onto its roof, traveled up another embankment and struck a tree with the passenger’s side headlight. The vehicle then rolled back onto its wheels, police said. No injuries were reported.
