MEADVILLE — Crashes

State Police

-Kevin R. Baird, 37, of Centerville, was traveling south on Spring Creek Road 2,100 feet north of Keyes Road in Oil Creek Township when a deer entered his lane of travel at 10 p.m. Nov. 25, according to state police. He reportedly swerved to avoid contact, causing the vehicle to travel across both lanes and hit a ditch about 45 feet off the northbound berm before rolling and coming to a rest on its roof. No injuries were reported.

-Rodney, E. Gault, 44, of Jamestown, was traveling westbound on U.S. 322 when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy conditions on a left curve 476 feet south of East State Road in South Shenango Township at 8:10 a.m. Nov. 25, according to state police. The 2003 Chevrolet Venture slid off the north berm and overturned onto its roof. No injuries were reported.
