State police

- Someone drove a vehicle through and damaged the soccer field at Maplewood Elementary School, Steuben Township, at 4:15 a.m. on July 11. An investigation continues.


State police

- Jay Ordos, 68, of Conneautville was traveling south on Conneautville Road in Summerhill Township at 4:50 p.m. on July 12 and made a left turn into a driveway in front of an oncoming motorcycle being driven by Fred Benedict, 65, of Ashtabula, Ohio. Benedict applied his brakes and skid approximately 60 feet and then hit Ordos’ vehicle. Ordos was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Benedict was transferred by ambulance to Meadville Medical Center for treatment. He was wearing a helmet.
