MEADVILLE — Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Kenneth P. Hathaway, 46, of Guys Mills, was held for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and five summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on March 2 in Oil Creek Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Marvin M. Burnett, 21, of 622 Cutler St., Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of receiving stolen property. Vernon Township police filed the charge for an incident on March 7. His bond is set at $20,000 unsecured.

-Barry L. Latchaw Jr., 20, of 661 Manchester Drive, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of receiving stolen property. Vernon Township police filed the charge for an incident on March 7. His bond is set at $20,000 unsecured.

Meadville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Matthew R. Wagner, 20, of 198 Spring St., Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of concealment of whereabouts of a child. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charge for an incident on May 4 in Meadville. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a theft from a motor vehicle on Skeltontown Road in Venango Township between 2 and 4 a.m. June 26. An unknown suspect reportedly stole an iPod and wallet from an unlocked vehicle.
