Magisterial District Judge

-Michael J. Colburn, 27, of Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing April 26 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on Pennsylvania State Police at Meadville charges of one count of use/possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of driving under the influence and two summary traffic offenses for an incident March 25 and was released on his own recognizance.


State Police

-Deanna M. Heath, 38, of Guys Mills, was driving west on Route 408 in Hydetown at 5:58 p.m. April 24 when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to travel off the road and strike an embankment. Heath was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Titusville Area Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

-Mary A. Applebee, 64, of Union City, was driving onto Wattsburg Road in Greene Township, Erie County, at 3:46 p.m. April 25 when she drove her vehicle into the path of was struck by a vehicle being driven north by Jordan W. Watson, 25, of Titusville. Applebee was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Millcreek Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. No other injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

-Marie A. Koon, 72, of Titusville, was driving at the intersection of Thompson Run Road and Route 8 in Hydetown at 8:55 p.m. April 26 when she drove her vehicle into the path of and was struck by a vehicle being driven north on Route 8 by Gina-Marie Sudul, 44, of Titusville. Koon was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. Sudul was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Titusville Area Hospital by Hydetown Area Ambulance Service for treatment of moderate injuries.


State Police

-Theft of motor vehicle charges have been filed against a 58-year-old Centerville man after he allegedly stole a 1999 Chevrolet 3500 truck from a 41-year-old Leboeuf Trail Road, Troy Township, property around 11 p.m. April 20.

-Someone entered a 20-year-old Grand Valley man’s unlocked car and stole a state inspection sticker valued at a total of $2 from its windshield while the car was parked at an Oil Creek Township shopping center sometime between 1 and 11:30 a.m. April 23.

-A unidentified male entered a 38-year-old man’s Harrison Road, Rome Township, residence at 5:30 p.m. April and fled on foot in an unknown direction after being confronted by the man. The suspect is described as being approximately 6 feet tall with an average build. An investigation continues.
