Magisterial District Judge

-Daniel P. Strausser, 24, address unlisted, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of failing to register with Pennsylvania State Police. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 24 in South Shenango Township. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $2,500 bond.

-Deborah M. Moyer, 47, of 4 Rosewood Lane, Erie, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and two summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 13 in South Shenango Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Dale A. Mullen, 49, of 12850 Birch St., Conneaut Lake, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of DUI and three summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 11 in Summit Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

n Dana M. Kestle, 33, of 2930 West Sixth St., Erie, was arraigned and bound over to the next term of court on three counts of criminal conspiracy and official oppression. Conneaut Lake police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 12. She was released on $50,000 unsecured bond.

-Marlene A. Schroeck, 60, of 9125 Shadduck Road, McKean, was arraigned and bound over to the next term of court on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, official oppression and interference with custody of children. Conneaut Lake police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 12. She was released on $50,000 unsecured bond.

-Christopher M. Kantola, 41, of 611 Park Ave., Meadville, was arraigned and bound over to the next term of court on charges of making any materially false written statement and unsworn falsification to authorities. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 26, 2012, in Sadsbury Township. He was released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

-Kevin G. Simoneau Jr., 31, of 1190 Iroquois Road, Conneaut Lake, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of simple assault and one summary charge. Conneaut Lake police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 11 in Sadsbury Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Frank A. Kerstetter, 56, of 214 Jefferson St., Linesville, was arraigned and bound over to the next term of court on charges of rape of child, two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault, three counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, engangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors and indecent exposure. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on March 1, 2012, in Conneaut Township. He was released from Crawford County jail on $75,000 unsecured bond with conditions.

-Paul W. Fry, 64, of 6868 Coulter St., Hartstown, was arraigned and bound over to the next term of court on charges of aggravated indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, two counts of corruption of minors and two counts of indecent assault. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on March 21, 2012, in West Fallowfield Township. He was released on $50,000 bond with conditions.

-Christopher M. Gasiewski, 46, of 702 Park Ave., Meadville, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on two counts of criminal conspiracy. Conneaut Lake police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 17, 2012. He was released on his own recognizance.

Magisterial District Judge

-Anthony W. Moore, 29, of 7961⁄2 Water St., Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of hindering apprehension⁄prosecution. Meadville police filed the charge for an incident on Nov. 7. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Megan L. Cathey, 26, of 370 Walnut St., Meadville, was arraigned and bound over to the next term of court on the charge of simple assault and two summary charges. Meadville police filed the charges for an incident on Dec. 5. Her bond is set as nonmonetary with conditions.



Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Bethany C. Vera, 27, of 1122 West 11th St., Erie, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of identity theft, false report, false identification and two summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 26 in Greenwood Township. She was placed in Crawford County jail on $30,000 bond.

-Rebecca M. Nulph, 28, of 121 Buttermilk Hill, Franklin, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and two summary charges. Cochranton police filed the charges for an incident on Nov. 11. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Alexander J. Jones, 41, of 38 R B Drive, Prestonburg, Ky., waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of unlicensed firearms, six counts of DUI, possession of marijuana, use⁄possession of drug paraphernalia and one summary charge. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Nov. 3 in Vernon Township. He was released from Crawford County jail on $25,000 bond.



Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Jodi L. Strawbridge, 25, of Townville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of use⁄possession of drug paraphernalia. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 1 in Troy Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Cathy A. Blum, 60, of Tionesta, was traveling south on Route 8 in Bloomfield Township when her vehicle struck a tire in the roadway at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 5, according to state police. No injuries were reported.



Crimes

State Police

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a theft at Wal-Mart in Oil Creek Township at an unknown time Nov. 26. An unknown male suspect reportedly put several electronic items, estimated at $875.86, in a laundry basket and exited the store without paying.

-Philip Symes, 36, of Cochranton, and Ashley Frantz, age unlisted, of Cochranton, were accused of harassment for an alleged physical altercation on Route 322 in Vernon Township between 2:15 and 2:30 a.m. Dec. 1, according to state police.

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a theft on Washington Street in Conneautville between 2 and 3:50 p.m. Nov. 30. A male suspect reportedly removed six hydrocodone pills from a residence. The investigation continues.
