MEADVILLE — Meadville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Dennis J. Mayer, 42, of 1057 1/2 Liberty St., Meadville, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood for Judge William Chisholm and bound over to the next term of court on the charge of simple assault and two summary charges. Meadville police filed the charges for an incident on Nov. 13. His bond is set at $5,000 unsecured.



Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Michael T. Dee, 24, of 2627 Timberglen Drive, Wexford, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and one summary charge. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 15 in Union Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

 

Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Devin A. Frith, 20, of 14456 Lexington Ave., Harmonsburg, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and bound over to the next term of court on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 9 in Spring Township. His bond is set at $25,000 unsecured.

-Daniel P. Strausser, 24, address unlisted, was arraigned and bound over to the next term of court on the charge of failure to register with state police. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charge for an incident on Aug. 24 in South Shenango Township. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $2,500 bond.



Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Tiara A. Fehnel, 19, of Titusville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of receiving stolen property and retail theft. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 27 in Oil Creek Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Shawna M. Vaughn, 19, of Titusville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of retail theft. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charge for an incident on Sept. 27 in Oil Creek Township. She was released on her own recognizance.



Crashes

State Police

-Robert C. Collins, 48, of Meadville, was traveling north on Route 98 in Hayfield Township when his vehicle rolled into a ditch at 11:20 p.m. Nov. 17, according to state police. No injuries were reported. Collins reportedly left the scene without contacting police. Leonard’s Towing assisted on scene.

-Thomas McClure, age unlisted, of Meadville, was traveling west on Route 285 in North Shenango Township when he impacted a deer at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 14, according to state police. No injuries were reported. Leonard’s Towing assisted on scene.



Crimes

State Police

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a burglary on Tryonville Road in Steuben Township between June 1 and Nov. 10.

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a case of criminal mischief on Perry Road in Oil Creek Township between 1 and 7 a.m. Nov. 10. One or more unknown suspects reportedly drove through a yard.
