Magisterial District Judge

-Marcus M. Schmidt Sr., 41, address unlisted, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of criminal attempt, contact/communication with minor — sexual offenses, endangering the welfare of children, indecent assault and corruption of minors. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 22, 1998, in Conneaut Township. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $75,000 bond.

-Patricia A. Yallum, 66, of 9994 Thomas Road, Atlantic, was arraigned and bound over to the next term of court on two counts of theft by unlawful taking and two counts of theft by failure to make required disposition of funds. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on June 1, 2013, in West Fallowfield Township. She was released on $50,000 unsecured bond.

-Walter V. Hamilton, 43, of 9994 Thomas Road, Atlantic, was arraigned and bound over to the next term of court on charges of criminal conspiracy and bad checks. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on June 1, 2013, in West Fallowfield Township. He was released on $25,000 unsecured bond.

-Sally J. Jones, 51, of 409 East Leasure Ave., New Castle, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence, unauthorized use of motor/other vehicles and six summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on May 24 in Summit Township. She was released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

-Michael D. Ahlbrandt, 24, of 26333 Hilltop Road, Springboro, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges driving under the influence and three summary counts. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident in Spring Township April 26. He was released on his own recognizance.
