MEADVILLE — Crashes

State Police

- A 17-year-old Conneaut Lake male was traveling northwest on Reed Avenue in Summit Township when he lost control of his vehicle at 8:28 a.m. May 12, according to state police. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway and struck two mailboxes and a tree. The juvenile driver was transported to Meadville Medical Center for minor injuries. Summit Township Volunteer Fire Department and West End Towing assisted on scene.

Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

- Larry W. Geisler, 58, of 8044 Carpenter Road, Guys Mills, was held for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and bound over to the next term of court on the charge of driving under the influence and one summary charge. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on April 19 in Wayne Township. He was released on his own recognizance.
