MEADVILLE — Meadville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-John D. Pellerin, 40, of 7711⁄2 Park Avenue, Meadville, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm and bound over to the next term of court on two counts of arson and criminal mischief. Meadville police filed the charges for an incident on June 16. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $10,000 bond.

-Harry B. Hoague, 29, of 18 Asbury Manor West, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge receiving stolen property. Meadville police filed the charge for an incident on April 3. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Shane T. Malone, 27, of 519 North Main Street Extension, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence, use⁄possession of drug paraphernalia and two summary charges. Meadville police filed the charges for an incident on April 21. He was released on his own recognizance.

n Timothy R. Goodwill, 30, of Erie, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of theft by unlawful taking, two counts of receiving stolen property and criminal mischief. Meadville police filed the charges for an incident on May 19. He was released from Crawford County jail on $2,500 bond.

-Jason R. Boehm, 32, of 625 Park Avenue, Meadville, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood for Judge William Chisholm and bound over to the next term of court on seven counts of statutory sexual assault, four counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years of age, unlawful contact with a minor, two counts of aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and eight counts of indecent assault. Meadville police filed the charges for incidents on Aug. 31, 2012, and Jan 1, 2013. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $50,000 bond.



Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Tabitha R. Naylor, 29, of 13526 Phelps Road, Conneaut Lake, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of possession of marijuana and use⁄possession of drug paraphernalia. Conneaut Lake police filed the charges for an incident on May 13 in Sadsbury Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Devin M. Keeley, 22, of 3091 North 2nd Street Extension, Jamestown, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and one summary charge. Conneaut Lake police filed the charges for an incident on May 30 in Sadsbury Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Michael B. Learn, 20, of 580 Hailwood Drive, Meadville, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on two counts of simple assault and six summary charges. Meadville police filed the charges for an incident on May 18. He was released on his own recognizance.



Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Shane R. Michaud, 44, of 5648 Franklin Pike, Cochranton, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood for Judge Michael Rossi and bound over to the next term of court on two counts of simple assault and two summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on May 22 in East Fairfield Township. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $5,000 bond with conditions.

-Floyd J. Benninger, 38, of 20061 State Highway 285, Cochranton, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of simple assault and one summary charge. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on April 25 in Fairfield Township. He was released on $20,000 bond.

-Ethan B. Halperin, 23, of 18841 Cussewago Terrace, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Vernon Township police filed the charges for an incident on May 21. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $20,000 bond.



Saegertown Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Kalie K. Simmerer, 27, of Cambridge Springs, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln Zilhaver and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and three summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on May 31 in Woodcock Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Jason W. Green, 32, of Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on April 1 in Hayfield Township. His bond is set at $25,000 unsecured.



Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Andrew A. Wright, 25, of Titusville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of court on six counts of driving under the influence and one summary charge. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on May 19 in Steuben Township. He was released on his own recognizance.



Crashes

State Police

-Leanna M. Bailey, 22, of Meadville, was traveling north on Route 86 in Woodcock Township when she left the roadway at 10:10 p.m. June 24, according to state police. She reportedly re-entered the roadway, spun counterclockwise and left the roadway again, hitting an embankment and rolling the vehicle at least twice. She suffered minor injuries, police said.

-Ruthy L. Valesky, 27, of Atlantic, was traveling east on Adamsville Road in West Fallowfield Township when her vehicle started to shake at 9:10 a.m. June 24, according to state police. She reportedly lost control of her vehicle and left the roadway, traveling into a ditch. The vehicle rolled onto its roof, police said. No injuries were reported. West Fallowfield Volunteer Fire Department assisted on scene.

-Susan E. Dickson, 67, of Andover, Ohio, backed out of a private driveway onto Thompson Drive in South Shenango Township and entered the path of driver Michael Maynard of Conneaut Lake at 2:20 p.m. June 26, according to state police. Maynard reportedly struck Dickson. No injuries were reported.

-Nancy J. Carpenter, 60, of Bentleyville, was traveling west on State Route 285 in North Shenango Township when she attempted to turn left onto Bullis Road and failed to observe driver Jonathan Arnett of Espyville traveling east at 1:25 p.m. June 26, according to state police. Both drivers reportedly attempted to brake, but Arnett struck Carpenter. Arnett suffered injuries of unknown severity and was transported to Meadville Medical Center, police said. No other injuries were reported. Conneaut Lake Ambulance, North Shenango VFD and Howick’s Towing assisted on scene.



Crimes

State Police

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a hit and run crash near a residence at the intersection of Oakmont Drive and Hillcrest Drive in Bloomfield Township at 5 a.m. June 25. One or more unknown suspects traveling on Oakmont Drive reportedly turned onto Hillcrest Drive and left the roadway, striking a pine tree and fence on nearby property. The suspects caused an estimated $300 in damage and fled the scene undetected, police said.

-A 15-year-old male was accused of possession of marijuana for an alleged incident on East Freemont Street in Townville at 8:20 p.m. June 24, according to state police. The suspect’s mother reportedly notified police officers of marijuana in her residence. Upon investigation, police reported finding three marijuana plants growing in the juvenile’s bedroom.
