MEADVILLE — Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Timothy D. Bottles, 21, of 19722 Forest Green Drive, Meadville, was held for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and four summary charges. Vernon Township police filed the charges for an incident on Jan. 29. He was released on $25,000 bond.

-Kevin J. Scott, 27, of 359 Walnut St., Meadville, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property. Vernon Township police filed the charges for an incident on Nov. 11. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Tiffany A. Watt, 25, of 19739 Forest Green Drive, Meadville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of criminal conspiracy. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Jan. 22 in Vernon Township. Her bond is set at $25,000 unsecured.



Meadville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Michael A. Pierce, 31, of 315 Hess Ave., Erie, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm and bound over to the next term of court on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, two counts of possession with intent to deliver, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, three counts of criminal use of a communication facility and two counts of criminal conspiracy. The Attorney General’s office filed the charges for incidents on March 23, March 24, April 12 and April 20, 2012, in Meadville. He was placed in Crawford County Prison $15,000.

-Michael G. Goss, 22, of Cambridge Springs, was arraigned and bound over to the next term of court on charges of indecent assault of an unconscious person and indecent assault. Meadville police filed the charges for an incident on Feb. 8. He was placed in Crawford County Prison on $10,000 bond.

-Jerry L. Salsberry II, 28, of 613 N. Main St., Meadville, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by unlawful taking and access device fraud. Meadville police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 30, 2012. He was released on his own recognizance.



Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-James A. Riggs III, 34, of 6665 Palestine St., Pemberton, Ohio, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by deception and bad checks. Conneaut Lake police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 1, 2012, in Sadsbury Township. His bond is set at $25,000 unsecured.



Saegertown Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Randall R. Baker, 56, of Saegertown, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln Zilhaver and bound over to the next term of court on charges of possession of marijuana and manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture/deliver. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 13, 2012, in Woodcock Township. He was released on his own recognizance.



Crashes

State Police

-Mary J. Nicholson, 38, of Titusville, was entering a Wal-Mart parking lot from Hydetown Road in Oil Creek Township when she attempted to make a U-turn and entered the path of Michael W. Lytle, 54, of Titusville on Feb. 7 at 10:50 a.m., according to state police. The two vehicles reportedly impacted, causing minor damage to both. Nicholson suffered minor injuries, police said. Her vehicle was towed from the scene by Shambaugh’s Towing.
