MEADVILLE — Crashes

State Police

-Nicole L. Wright, 21, of Titusville, was driving west on Mckinney Road in Oil Creek Township at 10:20 a.m. May 22 when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to travel off the road, strike a ditch and an embankment and roll over. Wright was not wearing a seatbelt, and was transported to Titusville Area Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. The vehicle sustained major damage and was towed from the scene.

-Bethann M. Staggs, 28, of Atlantic, was driving north on Lake Road in Greenwood Township at 10:40 a.m. May 24 when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to travel off the road, strike an embankment and flip onto its roof. Staggs was wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries. Her two passengers, a 4-year-old Atlantic girl and a 2-year-old Atlantic boy, were both secured in child safety seats and sustained minor injuries. All were transported to Meadville Medical Center for treatment.

-Charlotte L. Brown, 85, of Centerville, was driving east on McGeetown Road in Rome Township at 2:15 p.m. May 24 when she drove her vehicle into the path of and was struck by a vehicle being driven north on Route 89 by John P. Vroman, 50, of Titusville. Following the impact, both vehicles traveled off the roadway and into ditches. Brown was wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries. Vroman was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

-Ann M. Suddaby, 27, of Allison Park, was driving south on Interstate 79 in Hayfield Township at 6:47 p.m. May 26 when her vehicle struck a deer that had run onto the road. Suddaby was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. Her passenger, Sean E. New, 24, of Beaver Falls, was wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries.

-A 16-year-old Springboro girl was driving north on Route 98 in Hayfield Township at 8:21 p.m. June 3 when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to spin off the road’s east berm. The girl was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Meadville Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Her passengers, Jill L. Crowley, 49, of Springboro, and a 14-year-old Springboro girl, were also both wearing seatbelts and sustained minor injuries.
