Magisterial District Judge

-Melvin J. Weaver, 19, of Centerville waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of county court on charges of driving under the influence and four summary counts. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident April 22 in Rome Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-There were minor injuries in a two-car crash at routes 77 and 8 in Bloomfield Township at 4:55 p.m. June 6. James D. Mosbacher, 67, of Saegertown was driving east on Route 77, stopped at the intersection with Route 8, and then drove into the intersection. Mosbacher’s vehicle was struck by a car, driven by Constance L. Cramer, 57, of Wattsburg, that was driving north on Route 8. Both drivers had minor injuries and both were wearing seat belts, according to police.

-There were no injuries in a two-car crash at the intersection of routes 8 and 77 at 6:30 a.m. Friday. Virgil L. Estes, 82, of Centerville, was driving east on Route 77, stopped his car at a stop sign at the intersection with Route 8 and then drove into the intersection. Estes’ car was struck by a car, driven by Cindy S. Paulick, 54, of Titusville, that was traveling north on Route 8.
