State Police

-Catherine A. Dolan, 30, of Cooperstown, failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Routes 285 and 173 in Fairfield Township and entered the path of driver Austin Shellenberger of Cochranton at 6:55 a.m. Dec. 14, according to state police. Shellenberger’s vehicle reportedly struck Dolan’s vehicle on the driver’s side. Both vehicles left the roadway after impact, police said. Dolan reportedly suffered minor injuries and her passenger, Timothy Crose of Cooperstown, suffered moderate injuries. Shellenberger suffered injuries of unknown severity, police said. Leonard’s Towing and Cochranton VFD and ambulance assisted on scene.

-An unknown driver backed into an unattended vehicle in a parking lot by Cussewago Street and Plum Alley in Venango between 4 p.m. Dec. 12 and 3:30 p.m. Dec. 13, according to state police.

-Jean L. Heagy, 53, of Meadville, was traveling south on Mercer Pike in Union Township when she failed to yield right of way at 1:05 p.m. Dec. 13, according to state police. Her vehicle was reportedly struck by driver Stanley Armstrong of Meadville. No injuries were reported. Vernon Central fire department assisted on scene.

Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Ryan T. Underhill, 38, of Titusville, was held for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and bound over to the next term of court on the charge of theft by unlawful taking. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charge for an incident on Nov. 4 in Oil Creek Township. He was released on his own recognizance.
