MEADVILLE — Vernon Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Earl D. Holland Jr., 45, of 9854 Highway 198, Guys Mills, waived  his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of driving under the influence and a summary count. Vernon Township Police filed the charges for an incident June 7 in the township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Jesse T. Sullivan, 19, of 13433 McClintock Road, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by unlawful taking, theft by receiving stolen property and receiving stolen property. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for incidents between Jan. 13 and April 12 in Vernon Township and Meadville. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Randy P. Smith, 20, of 10819 Timbercrest Drive, Apt. 102, Meadville, was bound over to court on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and two summary counts. Vernon Township Police filed the charges for an incident Aug. 6 in the township. He was released on $5,000 bond.



Meadville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Bryon C. Leach, 20, whose address was listed as Crawford County jail waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of simple assault and harassment. Meadville Police filed the charges for an incident Aug. 9. He was released on non-monetary bond.

-Joseph H. Donachy, 31, in care of 119 Chestnut St., Linesville, was arraigned on two counts of theft by deception and three counts of conspiracy. Meadville Police filed the charges for incidents Monday. Donachy was placed in the Crawford County jail in lieu of $10,000 bond. He faces a preliminary hearing Sept. 17.

-Benjamin M. Ketcham, 23,  of 697 Terrace St., Apt. 24, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of former convict not to own a firearm, terroristic threats three counts of reckless endangerment, two counts of simple assault and a summary count. Meadville Police filed the charges for an incident July 23. He remains in the Crawford County jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.

-San Antonio Hawkins, 27, of 1179 S. Cottage St., Meadville, was arraigned on charges of illegal sale of a non-controlled substance and criminal use of a communication device. Meadville Police filed the charges for an incident Jan. 13. He was placed in the Crawford County jail in lieu of $2,500 bond. He faces a preliminary hearing on the charges Sept. 14.



Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Cheryl L. Desput, 48, of 1974 Westford Road, Jamestown, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of driving under the influence and two summary counts. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident Aug. 9 in South Shenango Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Angela Kathleen Miller, 20, of 1760 Seminole Road, Westford, waived her right to a preliminary hearing was bound over to the next term of court on charges of DUI and five summary counts. State police filed the charges for an incident July 12 in South Shenango Township. She was released on her own recognizance.



Saegertown Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Jennifer H. Kelly, 35,  of Cambridge Springs, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln Zilhaver and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of driving under the influence and two summary counts. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident Aug. 12 in Cambridge Springs. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Christina C. Coe, 23, of Meadville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of simple assault and criminal mischief and a summary count. State police filed the charges for an incident Aug. 18 in East Mead Township. She remains free on $25,000 bond.

-Charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property filed against Matthew A. Cotterman, 41, of Saegertown, were dismissed by Zilhaver. State police had filed the charges for an incident May 23 in East Mead Township.

-Jeremy Heath, 26, of Townville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and two summary counts. State police filed the charges for an incident Aug. 12 in East Mead Township. He was released on his own recognizance.
