Magisterial District Judge
— David W. Bartholomew, 35, of 17101 Maple Drive, Saegertown, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Monday before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln S. Zilhaver on three counts of theft by deception and one count each of identity theft and unlawful use of a computer for an incident Oct. 29 and was released on $25,000 unsecured bond.

— Underage drinking charges are pending against five Meadville- and Saegertown-area teenagers after the group was allegedly found to be drinking alcoholic beverages at a Birch Drive, Saegertown, location at 5:16 p.m. Wednesday.

— Cody A. Ul, 19, of Springboro, was driving west on Route 19 in Summerhill Township at 5:35 p.m. Thursday when he lost control of his vehicle while attempting to avoid a deer that had run onto the road, causing the vehicle to travel off the road and strike a ditch and a tree. Ul reportedly sustained minor injuries.
— James E. Gagen, 56, of Linesville, was driving out of a parking lot on East Erie Street in Linesville at 10:10 p.m. Thursday when he stopped his vehicle, causing it to be struck by a vehicle being driven east by Charles C. Gee, 54, of Linesville. Gee was reportedly transported to Meadville Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
