Magisterial District Judge
- David W. Bartholomew, 35, of 17101 Maple Drive, Saegertown, was arraigned Tuesday before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln S. Zilhaver on Pennsylvania State Police charges of three counts of theft by deception and one count each of identity theft and access device fraud for an incident Oct. 29 and was released on $25,000 unsecured bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday.

State Police
- Someone entered the home of an 82-year-old West Mead Township woman and removed some purses and jewelry between Oct. 7 and Nov. 4. Anyone with information should contact PSP Meadville at 332-6911.
- Someone entered an East Mead Township camp owned by a 75-year-old Cortland, Ohio, man and removed several firearms sometime between Nov. 1 and Nov. 4. Anyone with information should contact PSP Meadville at 332-6911.
- Simple assault charges are pending against an identified juvenile after he or she allegedly struck a 28-year-old Cambridge Springs woman in the face multiple times at a Woodcock Township location at 9:35 a.m. Monday.
Crashes
State Police
- Carl G. Overmier, 42, of Springboro, was driving south on Route 18 in Conneautville at 3:17 p.m. Oct. 23 when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to strike a parked vehicle. Overmier reportedly sustained moderate injuries.
- Jason Pritchett, 29, of Rockford, Ill., was driving onto Interstate 79 in Hayfield Township at 10:22 a.m. Oct. 29 when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to spin in front of and strike a vehicle being driven north by Roger D. Ward, 61, of Westville. Both drivers reportedly sustained injuries of unknown severity.
- Sara E. Villani, 28, of Meadville, was driving south on Route 99 in Venango Township at 8:10 a.m. Oct. 29 when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to travel off the road and strike a utility pole. Villani reportedly sustained minor injuries.
