— An unknown person parked a stolen blue 1994 four-door Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera bearing a license plate DAP-2134 along the berm of the northbound lane of I-79 near the exit 147 on ramp in Vernon Township sometime between 11 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday and fled the scene. Anyone with information should contact PSP Meadville at 332-6911.

— Unknown persons stole the identity of a 20-year-old East Fallowfield Township woman and used it to make two fraudulent purchases on the Internet totaling $507.

— Charges of driving under the influence are pending against a 19-year-old Greenville man after he fell asleep while driving on I-79 in Vernon Township, struck a guard rail and rolled his vehicle several times at 3:20 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle sustained severe damage. The driver received minor injuries and was wearing a seatbelt.

— A vehicle operated by Clarence L. Proper Jr. of Centerville was traveling north on Route 8 in Oil Creek Township at 5:40 p.m. Sunday when it swerved into the southbound lane, returned to the northbound lane, traveled off the berm, struck a guard rail, spun around and slid across both lanes of traffic before coming to rest. The vehicle sustained moderate damage. The driver was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt.
