Magisterial District Judge

n David G. Steele, 43, of 18389 Cussewago Road, Meadville, was bound over to the next term of court following a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on a charge of accidents involving injury, accident involving damage to attended vehicle and four summary counts. Vernon Police Department filed the charge for an incident Aug. 7. He was released on his own recognizance.

n Richard J. Long, 23, of 13361 Springboro Road, Conneautville, was bound over to the next term of court Oct. 19 before Magisterial District Judge William D. Chisholm on Meadville Police Department charges of one count each of conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and burglary for an incident between June 20 and 21 and was committed to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $2,500 bond.

n Eric A. Delrio, 25, of 627 State St., Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Oct. 19 on city police charges of one count each of burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, theft by unlawful taking, conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal trespass for an incident between June 20 and 21 and was released on $5,000 bond.

State Police

n Mary Halbe, 50, of Linesville, was driving out of a private driveway at a Maples Road, Conneaut Township location at 1:46 p.m. Oct. 17 when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle being driven north by an unidentified male, who reportedly fled the scene. Halbe was wearing a seatbelt and sustained injuries; her vehicle was severely damaged.

n Charges are pending against a Conneaut Lake man for allegedly striking a utility pole with his truck at 11:40 p.m. Oct. 15. The man was driving east on Water Street, failed to negotiate a right turn onto South Second Street and his truck struck the pole. Police allege the man then fled the scene.
