Magisterial District Judge
— Nicholas O. Longstreth, 27, of 17313 Rogers Ferry Road, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on Cambridge Springs Police Department charges of two counts of driving under the influence, one count each of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person, and two summary traffic offenses for an incident Aug. 23 and was recommitted to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $7,500 bond.

— Robert L. Manross, 78, of Titusville, was driving north on Route 408 in Richmond Township at 4:20 p.m. Friday when he turned onto Route 77 and drove his vehicle into the path of a vehicle being driven east by Timothy J. Proper, 18, of Meadville. Both drivers and Manross’ passengers, Lois E. Manross, 82, and Kathleen A. Eldred, 56, both of Titusville, reportedly sustained minor injuries.

— Charges are pending against an identified suspect for allegedly stealing a large number of checks from a 72-year-old Meadville woman and forging her name on them on dates between June and September.
— Someone cut and damaged approximately 5,000 feet of electric fencing and stole about 400 white fiberglass fence posts from a Gravel Run Road, Richmond Township, farm Friday.
— Someone entered a State Highway 198 home in Randolph Township through the basement window Saturday between 11:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. and removed a handgun, a PlayStation 2 and an iPod. The individual then fled the scene through the front door.
— Charges are reportedly pending against two Girard residents, a 30-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, who were involved in a physical confrontation at 606 Washington St., Conneautville, Saturday at 8:10 p.m. State police reportedly placed both individuals in the Crawford County jail due to high intoxication.
