Magisterial District Judge
— Daniel P. Parello, 21, of 273 Main St., Saegertown, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on Vernon Township Police Department charges of one count of possession of drug paraphernalia for a May 15 incident in Vernon Township and was released on his own recognizance.

Magisterial District Judge
— John W. Parkin Jr., 40, of 700 Venango Ave., Apt. 1, Cambridge Springs, pleaded guilty Thursday before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln S. Zilhaver on a Cambridge Springs Police Department charge of one count of simple assault for an incident Aug. 7 and was ordered to pay a total of $333 in fines and costs. Previously-filed charges of one count each of stalking and harassment were withdrawn.

— Brian E. Vilk, 45, of Conneautville, was driving south on Grieser Road in Sadsbury Township at 5:30 a.m. Aug. 13 when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to travel off the road, strike a ditch and roll over. No injuries were reported.
— A vehicle operated by an unidentified driver headed west on Highway 77 in Richmond Township at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday snagged a low-lying telephone wire and continued traveling, breaking the post to which the wire was attached. No injuries were reported, and no charges were filed.

— Disorderly conduct charges are pending against a Springboro man after he allegedly used obscene language toward a Springboro woman at a Main Street, Springboro location at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday.
— Public drunkenness charges are pending against a Brookline man after he allegedly refused to leave a Highway 18, Sadsbury Township bar at 2:52 a.m. Thursday.
— Someone stole a Pennsylvania registration plate (XDX7738) from a trailer parked at the intersection of Plank and Schenberg roads in Randolph Township sometime Monday.
