Magisterial District Judge
- Thomas F. Pratz, 40, address listed as Crawford County jail, Saegertown, was arraigned Tuesday before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on a Vernon Township Police Department charge of one count of false identification to law enforcement authorities for an incident Aug. 1 and was recommitted to the jail in lieu of $30,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 27 at 9 a.m.
- Wade W. White, 33, of 5548 U.S. Highway 19, Cochranton, was bound over to the next term of court Thursday before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on Pennsylvania State Police charges of two counts of driving under the influence, three summary traffic offenses and one count of harassment for an incident June 14 and was released on his own recognizance.

Magisterial District Judge
- Russell H. Lawson, 59, of 2481 Wheeler Road, Linesville, was arraigned Tuesday before Vernon Township Area Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi, acting for Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood, on Pennsylvania State Police charges of one count each of simple assault and harassment for incident Monday and was committed to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $10,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 20 at 10 a.m.
- Ryan C. Corson, 25, of 60 Public Square, Andover, Ohio, was arraigned Sunday before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood on Pennsylvania State Police charges of one count each of simple assault and harassment for an incident Aug. 10 and was committed to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $2,500 bond with conditions. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 19 at 10:30 a.m.
- Deborah L. Vale, 36, of PO Box 134, Conneaut Lake, waived her right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday on state police charges of two counts of driving under the influence and one summary traffic offense for an incident June 29 and was released on her own recognizance.
- Deborah E. Lenhardt, 37, of 3465 Williamsfield Road, Jamestown, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a state police charge of one count each of possession of a drug paraphernalia for an incident Aug. 7 and was ordered to pay a total of $451 in fines and costs. A previously-filed charge of one count of possession of a controlled substance was withdrawn.
- Roger D. Morris, 44, of 19643 Arthur St., Meadville, pleaded guilty Thursday to a Vernon Township Police Department charge of one count of possession of a small amount of marijuana for an incident July 12 and was ordered to pay a total of $210 in fines and costs with credit for time served.
- Caleb I. Courtney, 28, of 5612 Huckleberry Road, Adamsville, was bound over to the next term of court Thursday before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood on Pennsylvania State Police charges of one count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia for an incident May 6 and was released on his own recognizance.
- Michael P. Schaab, 27, of 2035 State Route 307, Austinburg, Ohio, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday on Conneaut Lake Regional Police Department charges of one count of driving under the influence and two summary traffic offenses for an incident April 1 and was released on his own recognizance.

- Kelly L. Moser, 35, of 26887 Highway 27, Guys Mills, waived her right to a preliminary hearing Monday before Magesterial District Judge Lincoln Zilhaver on a state police charge of one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for an incident July 30 and was committed to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $2,500 bond.

Meadville Police
- Someone entered a Shadow Oaks Drive residence and stole two strings of pearls valued at between $1,500 and $2,000 sometime between June 29 and July 22.
- A key was used to scratch a vehicle parked at a Baldwin Street location July 20.
- Charges are pending against an identified suspect for allegedly stealing several ornamental dolls and model cars from the porch of a Market Street residence between Aug. 1 and 4.
- Tires on a vehicle parked at an East Street location were slashed sometime Aug. 3 or 4.
- Someone broke the trunk of a pear tree at a South Main Street property sometime Aug. 5 or 6.
- Loitering charges are pending against an identified juvenile male for prowling around cars at a Lord Street location at 11:53 p.m. Aug. 6.

State Police
- Someone entered a Sutterview Road, Rockdale Township residence and stole a purse containing several items sometime between 10 p.m. Aug. 7 and 9 a.m. Friday.
- Two red-colored Shindaiwa 490-model professional chainsaws were stolen from a wooded area off Peters Road in Woodcock Township on Monday.
- Charges are pending against a 59-year-old Linesville man for allegedly assaulting a 41-year-old Linesville woman at a Wheeler Road, Linesville location at 8:50 p.m. Monday.
- Two unidentified suspects stole a sump pump from the front porch of an abandoned house on County Line Road in Sparta Township at 9:15 a.m. Monday.
- Someone pried open two sheds’ doors and an office door and stole tools, cash and other items valued at a total of $1,747 from a Fink Road, Rome Township hardwoods business sometime between 3:10 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call state police at Corry at (800) 922-1975 or Crawford County Crimestoppers at 337-1111.
- Someone forged and cashed a check drawn from a Meadville man’s account at a Cussewago Road, Vernon Township location on Monday.
- Someone stole a self-propelled push lawnmower from a Dutch Hill Road, Union Township property sometime between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday.
- Someone broke into a shed at a Shadeline Road, Spring Township property and stole a 2004-model Suzuki Z400 all-terrain vehicle sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday. The ATV is described as being white in color with a custom steel rear bumper.
- A safe containing various denominations of U.S. Savings Bonds valued at $650 was taken from a Main Street residence in Hydetown between June 18 and Aug. 7.
- A Meadville man is accused of disorderly conduct for fighting and exhibiting threatening behavior over the right of way at the Pilot Station parking lot at State Route 97 and Interstate 90 in Summit Township, Erie County on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
- Four bags of marijuana were allegedly discovered and seized from a Kennedy Hill Road residence in Union Township on July 25 at 7:55 p.m. Charges are pending.
- Someone stole a silver 1997 Buick Regal from a Franklin Pike, East Fairfield Township residence between 10 p.m. Aug. 1 and 5:30 a.m. Aug. 2. The vehicle was recovered along State Route 322 in front of Station 4 Firehouse Grill at 11 a.m. Aug. 2. The vehicle sustained damage to three wheels and the left front end. Anyone with information should contact state police at 332-6911.
- Someone pried open a shed door and stole a 2004 Suzuki Z400 all-terrain vehicle at a Shadeline Road residence in Springboro Saturday between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Someone broke the rear window of a Volkswagen parked along West Pine Street, Linesville, between 1 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Anyone with information should call state police at 332-6911.
- A BB gun was used to shoot the left side, rear window of a pickup truck as it was parked at a Quick Road residence in Espyville at 1:15 a.m. Sunday.
- State police are investigating a fire that destroyed a 1998 GMC Yukon as it was parked at a West Center Road residence in Conneaut Township between 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday. Anyone with information should call police at 332-6911.
Crashes
State Police
- Walter McClimans, 53, of Atlantic, was driving on Route 18 in West Fallowfield Township at 4:48 p.m. Friday when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to travel off the road and sideswipe three trees. McClimans was apparently transported to UPMC Horizon Greenville for treatment of injuries. Charges are reportedly pending.
- Someone driving west on Cemetery Road in Venango Township at 2 a.m. Saturday lost control of his or her vehicle, causing it to travel off the road, strike a cattle fence and travel approximately 300 feet through a field before striking another fence. The driver then fled the scene.
- Lynette E. Brown, 68, of Sunrise, Fla., was driving north on Route 8 in Bloomfield Township at 2 p.m. Tuesday when a bear reportedly ran into her vehicle’s path, causing the vehicle to strike the bear, which subsequently ran into a wooded area. Brown wasn’t injured.
