Magisterial District Judge
- Christina Diane Wilson, whose current address is listed as Crawford County jail in Saegertown, was held to court following a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm on Meadville Police Department charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and 10 summary traffic offenses for a June 14 incident and was returned to jail in lieu of $2,500 nonmonetary bail.
- John Howard Vanderhoof, 18, of 5771/2 Green St., Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on city police charges of burglary, criminal trespass (breaking into a structure), criminal trespass (entering a structure), possessing an instrument of crime, theft by unlawful taking and purchase of alcoholic beverage by a minor for a June 12 incident and was released on $10,000 monetary bail.
- Lacy Jane Woods, 21, of 627 W. Spring St., Titusville, was held to court following a preliminary hearing on city police charges of forgery and theft by deception for a May 8 incident and was committed to jail in lieu of $5,000 monetary bail.

Magisterial District Judge
- Kimberly A. Masetta, 37, of 12229 Mantor St., Conneaut Lake, pleaded guilty Monday before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood to Pennsylvania State Police charges of simple assault for a July 10 incident in Summit Township and was ordered to pay a fine of $500 and court costs of $138. Charges of harassment were withdrawn.
- Kevin E. House, 36, of 12779 Cyprus St., Conneaut Lake, pleaded guilty Monday to state police charges of simple assault for a July 10 incident in Summit Township and was ordered to pay a fine of $500 and court costs of $138. Charges of harassment were withdrawn.
- Timothy C. Scranton, 38, of 212 Conneaut St., Linesville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday on state police charges of three counts of possession with intent to deliver, four counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count each of criminal conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia for incidents between January and June and was released on $25,000 unsecured bond.
- Colton G. Bond, 18, of 12145 State Highway 618, Conneaut Lake, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday on state police charges of one count each of theft by unlawful taking, criminal conspiracy and criminal mischief for an incident between May 9 and 12 and was released on nominal bond with conditions.
- Michael J. Chotta, 19, of 9490 Gehrton Road, Conneaut Lake, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday on state police charges of one count each of theft by unlawful taking, criminal conspiracy and criminal mischief for an incident between May 9 and 12 and was released on $25,000 bond.
Saegertown Area
Magisterial District Judge
- Chad J. White, 19, of 782 Park Ave., Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln S. Zilhaver on Cambridge Springs Police Department charges of one count each of theft by unlawful taking, criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen property and possessing an instrument of crime for an incident June 26 and was released on $5,000 bond. A previously-filed, related charge of one count of criminal trespass was withdrawn.
- Everette L. Conyers, 28, of 16369 Horseshoe Road Apt. 26, Saegertown, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday on Cambridge Springs police charges of one count each of simple assault, harassment and public drunkenness for an incident June 24 and was released on non-monetary bond.
- Timothy J. Betts, 32, of 745 North St., Meadville, pleaded guilty Thursday to a Cambridge Springs police charge of one count of simple assault for an incident June 26 and was ordered to pay a total of $556 in fines, costs and restitution. A previously-filed charge of one count of harassment was withdrawn.

Magisterial District Judge
- Serita J. Kinser, 21, of 79 E. High St., Union City, waived her right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols on Pennsylvania State Police charges of two counts of driving under the influence and two summary traffic offenses for an incident May 18 and was released on her own recognizance.
- Jeffrey R. Seeley, 39, of 399 Pioneer Road, Titusville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday on Titusville police charges of two counts of driving under the influence for an incident July 21 and was released on $5,000 bond.
- Erick A. Sheetz, 22, of 509 N. First St., Titusville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday on a state police charge of one count of retail theft for an incident June 29 and was released on his own recognizance.

Meadville Police
- Someone entered a vehicle parked at an Arch Street location and stole a Nike-brand bag containing $50 in cash sometime between 3:30 and 8:45 a.m. July 22.
- Charges are pending against an identified suspect for allegedly making several harassing phone calls to a Lakemont Drive residence between July 17 and Thursday.
- Someone entered a vehicle parked at a Grant Street location and stole various items inside between 10:30 and 11 p.m. Thursday.
- Two tents, two sleeping bags and two fishing poles were stolen from a trailer parked at a Grove Street location between July 18 and 25.
- A bottle of prescription medication was stolen from a Baldwin Street residence sometime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday.
- Someone entered a vehicle parked at a North Street location and stole a pair of blue jeans inside sometime Thursday or Friday.
- Someone entered two vehicles parked at a Walnut Street location and stole items including a bag, 30 cassette tapes, a wallet, a Bluetooth headset and $4.50 in cash sometime Friday or Saturday.
- A registration plate — GYG5653 — was taken from a vehicle parked at a Pine Street location sometime between 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Saturday.
- Someone broke into a Lincoln Avenue bar/restaurant and stole a cash register and five bottles of alcohol — all valued at a total of $297 — at 6:36 a.m. Sunday.
- An iPod and $5 were taken from a Walnut Street resident’s unlocked vehicle while it was parked in front of a Shadow Oaks residence between 10:30 and 11 p.m. July 23.

State Police
- Charges are pending against an identified suspect for allegedly purchasing a chainsaw using a bad check at a Britton Run Road, Sparta Township business sometime between 8 a.m. and noon July 14.
- Charges are pending against a 13-year-old Philadelphia boy for allegedly harassing a 58-year-old Saegertown man at a Woodcock Township children’s facility at 1 a.m. July 20.
- Charges are pending against an identified 15-year-old boy for allegedly harassing a 16-year-old boy at a Circuit Drive, Bloomfield Township location at 8:15 p.m. July 22.
- Someone entered a Sunset Drive, Bloomfield Township residence and used utensils and stole various women’s clothing items sometime between 1 p.m. July 22 and 6 a.m. July 23.
- Criminal mischief charges are pending against an identified 32-year-old man after he allegedly damaged a vehicle at a Woodcock Township trailer park at 4:45 p.m. July 22.
- An ignition was removed from a cement truck at a Route 99, Venango Township location sometime between July 19 and Friday.
- Someone damaged a window screen at a Main Street, Hydetown residence sometime between Thursday and Saturday.
- Public drunkenness charges are pending against a 22-year-old Union City man after he allegedly caused a disturbance at a Lakeview Drive, Bloomfield Township location at 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
- Someone attempted to use a Centerville woman’s stolen credit card at a Rome Township business Saturday.
- Someone dumped garbage at a West Hemlock Street, Bloomfield Township property at 12:47 p.m. Saturday.
- Harassment charges are pending against a 40-year-old Titusville woman for allegedly leaving vulgar and lewd messages on a Centerville man’s telephone and a Titusville woman’s telephone repeatedly over the course of several weeks.
- Someone entered a Mt. Pleasant Road, Bloomfield Township residence and stole a gun, a drill and a gift certificate valued at a total of $555 sometime between noon July 13 and 8 a.m. Sunday.
- Someone entered a Conneautville woman’s home on Stanley Avenue between 4:45 and 5:30 p.m. Friday and removed an undisclosed amount of money.
- Palm tree lights outside the Palms Restaurant on Route 618 in Sadsbury Township were damaged at 2 a.m. Sunday.
- A brown plastic Tri-County trash container was removed from the driveway of a Vernon Township woman’s home on Harmonsburg Road between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
- Someone pumped $17.60 worth of gasoline at a Buells Corners, Rome Township store and didn’t return to make payment after arranging to do so with store management at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
- Harassment charges are pending against an identified suspect for allegedly punching a 36-year-old Conneaut Lake man in the face at a Sadsbury Township bar at 5 p.m. Sunday.
- Someone entered a Hickory Street, Conneaut Township residence and caused damage inside sometime between 7:30 a.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Monday.
- Harassment charges are pending against a 23-year-old Linesville man and a 63-year-old Linesville man after the two were allegedly involved in a physical altercation at a Beaver Center Road, Conneaut Township location at 6:18 p.m. Monday.
Found
property
- A girls’ multi-speed bicycle was found Monday in a wooded area west of Guys Mills on Plank Road in Randolph Township. The owner may claim the bicycle by identifying it at the Pennsylvania State Police at Meadville barracks during regular weekly business hours.
Crashes
State Police
- Brandon S. Greenawalt, 33, of Meadville, was injured in an all-terrain vehicle crash on Plank Road in East Mead Township at 4:14 p.m. Sunday. He was driving north, but lost control of the ATV and jumped off of it. Greenawalt, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, was released after treatment at Meadville Medical Center.
- Stephanie L. Steider, 18, of Cochranton, had minor injuries in a one-car crash on Route 285 in Fairfield Township at 9:10 p.m. Sunday. She was driving east when she lost control of her car, it went off the road and rolled over. She was treated at the scene by Cochranton volunteer fire and ambulance officials. Steider was wearing a seatbelt.
- A 16-year-old Meadville boy was driving north on Route 19 in Vernon Township at 5:17 p.m. Thursday when he turned his vehicle into the path of and struck a vehicle being driven south by Stephanie M. Bell, 24, of Meadville. Both drivers were reportedly transported to Meadville Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
- A 17-year-old Haddonfield, N.J., boy was driving on Route 77 in Bloomfield Township at 8 p.m. Friday when he drove his vehicle into the path of and struck a vehicle being driven south on Route 8 by Julia A. Grove, 25, of Titusville. No injuries were reported.
- A 17-year-old Titusville boy was driving north on Route 173 in Wayne Township at 5:38 Saturday when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to travel off the road, strike a tree and roll onto its side. The boy reportedly sustained minor injuries.
- Timothy T. Hannold, 50, of Cambridge Springs, was driving east on Route 77 in West Mead Township at 1:30 a.m. Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to travel into a ditch and roll onto its roof. Hannold reportedly sustained moderate injuries.
Crashes
Meadville Police
- A vehicle owned by David A. Wood of Cochranton was legally parked on the south side of Arch Street just west of South Main Street facing east on July 24 between 2:30 and 4:06 p.m. During that time, an unidentified vehicle heading east on Arch clipped the driver’s side mirror, breaking the mirror and knocking off the mirror housing. The driver failed to stop and identify himself.
- A car driven by Carl Emerson Hogue, 27, of 1010 S. Main St., Meadville, was eastbound on Arch Street on July 24 at 8:17 a.m. Hogue said he had a green signal light to continue east at Grove Street. At the same time, a pickup truck driven by Vincent A. Feleppa, 57, of 10833 Williamson Road, Meadville, was northbound on Grove. Feleppa said he had a green signal light to continue north at Arch. Both vehicles entered the intersection and Hogue’s car was struck in the front right by the front left of Feleppa’s truck. Witnesses said Feleppa was facing a red signal light when he entered the intersection.
- A car driven by Autumn Lynn Humes, 20, of 330 Seventh St., Conneaut Lake, was stopped on Park Avenue waiting to turn east into the Burger King parking lot July 22 at 12:48 p.m. Humes told police that her car was struck in the rear by a truck driven by Carl Francis Biggie of 2973 Haas Ave., Erie. Biggie told police he didn’t see Humes’ car stopped until the last second, slammed on his breaks to avoid contact with the car but struck it in the right rear.
- A minivan driven by Harry J. Miller Jr., 59, of 359 Walnut St., Meadville, was traveling west on North Street at Market Street on July 4 at 2:41 p.m. and entered the intersection on a green signal light. A vehicle driven by Harriet E. Hansen, 85, of 19397 Boone St., Meadville, was traveling south on Market at North and entered the intersection on a red signal light. Hansen’s vehicle struck Miller’s minivan on the passenger side, causing the minivan to spin and roll over on its driver’s side. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Pleas
Several persons entered guilty pleas in Crawford County Court of Common Pleas before Judge Anthony Vardaro. Those entering pleas were:
- Everett G. Crowley, 847 Water St., Apt. 7, Meadville, theft by unlawful taking.
- Mackenzie Currier, 40002 Gilson St., Centerville, criminal trespass.
- Delia A. Denison, 794 Water St. Apt. A, Meadville, theft of services.
- Lee Hetrick, 474 Randolph Lane, Meadville, habitual offenders and driving while operating privilege is suspended for driving under the influence.
