Meadville Area

Magisterial District Judge

n Kassandra Marie Kategianes, 20, of 344 W. Main Road, Conneaut, Ohio, was bound over to court following a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm on Meadville Police Department charges of harassment and was released on her own recognizance.

n Robert G. Radabaugh, 28, of 662 William St., Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on city police charges of two counts of driving under the influence, first offense, and one summary traffic offense and was released on his own recognizance.

n Donald Paul Guseman Jr., 180 Walker Drive, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on city police charges of simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness for a March 18 incident and was released on his own recognizance.

n Larry Wayne Humes, 41, of 21665 S. Trolley Drive, Venango, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Meadville police department of theft by deception and bad checks for a Nov. 13, 2007, incident and bad checks for a Nov. 6, 2007, incident and was released on his own recognizance.

n Clark Kenneth Fenchel, 24, of 371 Walnut St., Meadville, was bound over to court following a preliminary hearing on city police charges of two counts of failure to comply with a regulation request and was committed to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $3,000 bail.

n Amy Marie Rotkovecz, 31, of 16975 E. Shaw Road, Meadville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing on city police charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property for a Jan. 22 incident and was released on her own recognizance. She also waived her right to a preliminary hearing on separate charges filed by city police of forgery, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property for a Jan. 28 incident and was released on $2,500 monetary bail.

n Shawn Cornell, 36, of 650 Arden Place, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on city police charges of criminal trespass, simple assault, harassment and being drunk in a private or public place for a March 28 incident and was released on $2,500 nonmonetary bail.

n Erik Fields, 32, of 11172 Shaw Ave., Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on city police charges of presenting false identification to law enforcement and a summary traffic violation for a Jan. 18 incident and was released on his own recognizance.

n Harold Jay Kerley, 64, of 855 Rolling Meadow Road, Waynesburg, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on city police charges of theft by deception for a Sept. 7, 2007, incident and was committed to county jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

n Kenneth A. Chess, 22, of 19714 Forest Green, Meadville, pleaded guilty to city police charges of theft by deception for a Feb. 7 incident and paid fines, costs and restitution of $200.
