Magisterial District Judge
n Jason N. Engstrom, 21, of 559 West State Road, Jamestown, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Monday before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on Pennsylvania State Police charges of one count each of theft by unlawful taking, criminal conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking and theft by receiving stolen property for an incident between July 17 and 19, 2007, and was released on $10,000 bond.

Crimes
City Police
n A Meadville woman reported someone illegally used one of her credit cards to withdraw a total of $10,000 from automated banking machines between May and June of 2007, and also allegedly attempted to withdraw funds from three of her other accounts.

State Police
n Escape and disorderly conduct charges are pending against three female juveniles after they allegedly left a Mt. Pleasant Road, Bloomfield Township residential facility without authorization and were apprehended a short distance away around 6:20 p.m. Friday.
n Someone broke into a hunting camp at a Deer Creek Road, Fairfield Township location sometime between Oct. 31, 2007, and Saturday and stole a tool box containing approximately $700 worth of tools and outside downspouts.
