The Meadville Tribune

MEADVILLE — Duane Koller will talk with exhibitors at Antlers & Anglers and Lisa Beck makes wild west venison chili and venison cheese dip during the weeks of Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 on Crawford County Outdoors on Armstrong channel 23.

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS — Springs Rod & Gun Club holds Sunday turkey shoots on Nov. 3, 10 and 17. All shoots begin at 1 p.m. on the club’s grounds on Route 99 — one mile north of Cambridge Springs.

ERIE COUNTY — The Walnut Creek Marina basin will be open for fishing on Nov. 7 at noon, according to the Pennsylvania Fisha nd Boat Commission.

Every year, anglers anticipate the removal of boat docks so the marina — at a prime spot along the creek — can be used for fishing. Anglers in the marina or Walnut Creek channel are reminded that boats have the right-of-way. All anglers must pull in their lines and yield to incoming or outgoing boats entering or exiting the channel and/or the marina.
