Samantha AnnMargaret Hineman

PALMYRA, Va. — Samantha AnnMargaret Hineman, 13, of Palmyra, Va., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at the University of Virginia Health Center in Charlottesville, Va.

Born Oct. 22, 1995, in West Palm Beach, Fla., she was a daughter of John E. and Susan M. Durovey Hineman.

She was a high honors eighth-grade student at Fluvanna County Middle School.

She enjoyed reading books, shopping, being on the computer, and listening to praise and worship music. Most of all she loved being able to spend time with her family and friends.

Samantha would want everyone to know that through death, because of her faith in Christ she is now whole and complete. This separation is not final, only temporal. Those of faith in Christ she will see again in eternity. She will be waiting with arms opened wide to welcome the rest of us home.

Survivors include her parents, John and Susan Hineman; her sisters, Johnnie Lynn Hineman and Alexandra Leigh Hineman; her grandmothers, Martha Hineman of Espyville and Ruth Durovey of Linesville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, nurses, teachers and doctors whom she was very close with.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Dave Hineman and Joe Durovey Sr.; an aunt, Marianne Wheeler; and a cousin, Cale Litwiler.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

The funeral will follow the calling hours at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Brenda A. Loucks of Linesville First Baptist Church officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville, Pa. 16424; or to Victory Junction, 4500 Adams Way, Randleman, N.C. 27317.
