TITUSVILLE — TITUSVILLE — Alice Mae Ferry, 84, of Cooperstown, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at Titusville Hospital.

Born, Aug. 27, 1928 in Pithole, she was the daughter of Thomas and Emma Shields Griffin.

She married Lawrence Stevenson in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1979. She subsequently married Charles Ferry in May of 1986 and he survives.

She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and traveling and had the opportunity to travel to all of the 48 lower states with her husband, Charles.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children, Mary Frye and her husband, Thomas, of Utica, Shirley Cramer and her husband, Robert, of Sugar Creek, Larry Stevenson and his wife, Brenda, of Franklin , Darryl Ferry of Saegertown and Darlene Card and her husband, Tony, of Cooperstown, 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and a brother, John Griffin of Oil City.

She was preceded in death by four sons, William, David and Thomas Stevenson and Ronald Ferry; a brother, Thomas Griffin; and three sisters, Clarabelle Huff, Pearl Courson and Hazel Stevenson.

Friends will be received at the Dickson Family Funeral Home, Inc., 123 S. Franklin St., Cochranton on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, from the funeral home with the Rev. David Cope of the Canal Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Peters Cemetery, Venango County.
