Marcia L. (Morrison) Miller and Robert A. Miller of Utica, were given a precious gift from God Sept. 3, 1975.
God called Stephanie Jo Miller, of Franklin, home on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013.
Stephanie is survived by her father, Robert and wife, Betsy, of Meadville; and her mother, Marcia and fiancé, Alvin Patton, of Franklin and Barkeyville.
Stephanie is also survived by a sister, Dana Lynn Edgell and her family, husband, John, and nieces, Jazzmine Harris and Kayli Miller of Conneaut Lake; and stepsiblings, Nicki and David Carson and daughters, Zoe Heckathorn and Jaiden Carson, of Franklin, Marc and Heather Patton and daughter, Kelsie, of White Oak, and Michael Patton and Melissa Schwartz and children, Dylan and Samantha Schwartz, of Raleigh, N.C., also Shawn McGuigan and his wife, Nikki, and their children, Julia and Jake McGuigan.
She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Ruth and Robert G. Miller of Utica.
Stephanie’s extended family of aunts and uncles all loved her very much. They are: Sally and Terry Vogus of Oil City, Dawn and Terry Burns of Shippenville, Valerie Morrison of Erie, Steve and Jeannette Miller of Cochranton, Ricky and Rindi Miller of Utica, and Randy and Tina Miller of Polk. Cousins from these unions were all loved by Stephanie.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Charlotte “Gene” Morrison, who loved Stephanie very much. Her grandfather, Donald S. Morrison, never had the joy of knowing Stephanie on this earth. Her Uncle Jon Morrison also preceded her in death.
Stephanie worked at Goodwill Industries on Allegheny Boulevard in Franklin. She loved her job and made numerous friends there. Stephanie loved to take shopping trips with her mother. She always found things to buy for her best buddies, Sarah and Sadie, her dogs. She loved shopping for everyone, especially Jazzmine and Kayli.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. in Timothy E. Hartle Funeral Home, 1328 Elk St., Franklin.
Private family graveside services will be conducted in Morrison Cemetery.
The family request that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Venango Humane Society, P.O. Box 1045, Oil City, Pa. 16301, to help with the new building project.
