SAEGERTOWN — Jean Andre, 89, of 20881 Route 198, Saegertown, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at the Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown.

She was born March 31, 1924, in Meadville.

She married Norman Walter Weisman; he preceded her in death. She subsequently married Walter Andre; he preceded her in death.

She had been employed at the former American Viscose Co. in Meadville. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. She had cared for her grandson, Jeffery Weisman, over the years.

She is survived by two sons, Norman E. Weisman of Meadville and Lawrence Weisman and his wife, Ruth, of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Eleanor Willoughby and her husband, James, of Meadville; four grandchildren, Donald Willoughby and his wife, Naomi, of Saegertown, David Willoughby of Meadville, Jeffery Weisman of Titusville, and Carol Willoughby of Meadville; three great-grandchildren, Brian Willoughby of Saegertown, Allan Rounds and his wife, Leslie, of Meadville, and Ian Willoughby of Meadville; three great-great-grandchildren, Holden Rounds, Ellora Rounds and Rhys Rounds; a special niece, Judy Krytzer and her children, Jeremy, Sequoia and Travis; and a special nephew, John Spratt, both of whom helped Jean over the years. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Calling hour was at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, on Tuesday, followed by the funeral, with the Rev. David McAfee, pastor of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, officiating.

Inurnment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
