On Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, Judith Drake Glasgow, 74, passed away at home in Baltimore from ovarian cancer.
She was born in Townville on Jan. 1, 1939.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Clinton Gibson Glasgow, who passed away on Nov. 22, 2011; parents, Vera Carol Sybrandt Drake and Morris E. Drake of Townville; and sister, June M. Drake of Meadville.
She moved to Baltimore in 1968 where she taught for Baltimore City Public Schools. Judy retired from General Wolfe Elementary.
She is survived by two sisters, Joan Drake Bentley of Laurel, Md., and Janet Drake Chris of Centerville; and a brother, Gary M. Drake of Townville; two daughters, Shannon C. Glasgow of Baltimore and Heather J. Gimbel, a son-in-law, Paul R. Gimbel; and two grandchildren, Zoë and Liam Gimbel of Reisterstown, Md.
She was an avid gardener and reader.
