MEADVILLE — Margery R. Faul, 85, of Meadville died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in Meadville on May 2, 1928, a daughter of Ellis P. and Rowena Bump Sikes. She married Robert W. Faul on Sept. 21, 1947, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 2009.

She was a graduate of Meadville High School and was a very active member of First Baptist Church, singing in its choir for almost 60 years. She enjoyed painting and calligraphy and did work for both First Baptist Church and the former John J. Shryock Store.

She is survived by two sons, John R. Faul of Meadville and Mark S. Faul of Palm Bay, Fla.; nieces and nephews; and her cat, K.C.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry D. Faul.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 353 Chestnut St., Meadville, with the Rev. Gerald Walton, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

The family suggests memorials be made to the First Baptist Church, 353 Chestnut St., Meadville, Pa. 16335.
