OXON HILL, Md. — Gary K. Everett, 48, of Oxon Hill, Md., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, at United Medical Center, Washington, D.C.

He was born Dec. 6, 1964, in Meadville, a son of Elmer Everett and Carol McCullough. He was a 1982 graduate of Maplewood High School and was employed by Thunder Grill at Union Station in Washington, D.C. Gary was greatly respected by his supervisors and coworkers.

Gary enjoyed such things in life as: being an avid member of the American Poolplayers Association, going to movies and live plays and cooking/baking. He always dreamed of owning his own restaurant/bakery.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Calvin Evans; and two siblings, Michael and Karen Everett.

He is survived by his mother, Carol McCullough and her husband, James, of Apache Junction, Ariz.; his father, Elmer Everett and his wife, Roseanne, of Conneaut Lake; a brother, Dennis Everett of New Windsor, Md.; a sister, Meicy Brown and her husband, Patrick, of Meadville; a sister, Sherree Hancock of Saegertown; five stepsisters; a stepbrother; six nieces and nine nephews.
