GROVE CITY — Ivan A. Virtue Jr., 80, of Grove City (Wolf Creek Township), died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 9:50 p.m. at Grove City Medical Center.

He was born in Guys Mills on May 19, 1932, a son of Ivan A. Virtue Sr. and Francis Williams Virtue. He married Jane S. Smalley Miller on April 27, 1989.

Ivan was a self-employed farmer and formerly operated a maple syrup business with his father.

He was affiliated with Scotch Hill Presbyterian Church, Grove City.

He was a graduate of Cornell University and was in ROTC.

Survivors include his wife, Jane, of 23 years, at home; seven children, Ronald Miller and his wife, Inez, of Grove City, Gary Miller and his wife, Bettie, of Sandy Lake, Richard Miller, Sandra Miller, Deborah Gould, Julie Carr and her husband, Ronald, and Jeffrey Miller and his wife, Viola, all of Grove City; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lois Siverling of North East, Carol Braund of New York and Sandra Croselious and her husband, James, of Clark Summit.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Cunningham Funeral Home Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Evelyn Beebe of Scotch Hill Presbyterian Church officiating.

Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park Inc., Grove City.
