AVON PARK, Fla. —
Diane Lynn Adams, 51, of Avon Park, Fla., passed away Monday, July 29, 2013, at her home after a brave battle with cancer.
She was born June 11, 1962. Diane was born and raised in the Venango area and graduated from Cambridge Springs High School. After graduation in 1980 she married and moved from the area. She resided in several cities but settled in St. Augustine, Fla., for many years, where she owned and operated Adams Art and Framing for several years. She also went on to be a registered nurse but cancer cut her nursing career short. She moved to Avon Park in 2010 to be near her parents and sister.
She enjoyed crafts, watching movies, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Zachary Edwards of St. Augustine; her parents, James and Phyllis Adams of Saegertown; sister, Cathy Lewis and her husband, David, of Avon Park; brother, Edward Adams and his wife, Denette, of Saegertown; a niece and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Adams.
A memorial service was held Aug. 4 at Sunridge Baptist Church in Sebring, Fla., where she attended.
In celebration of her life, family and friends are invited to a picnic on Aug. 31 at 1 p.m. at her brother Ed Adams’ home at 21405 Erie St., Saegertown.
