SAEGERTOWN — Jacob A. Byler, 17, of 23913 Cannon Hollow Road, Saegertown, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013.

Jacob was born on Oct. 6, 1995, at Conewango Valley, N.Y., a son of Atlee J. and Verna Miller Byler.

In addition to his parents of Saegertown, he is survived by a special friend, Malinda M. Hostetler of Saegertown; seven brothers and six sisters, Elizabeth, Malinda, Katherine, Miriam, Adrian, Marvin and Jonathan, all at home, Ella and husband, Isaac, of Clyde, N.Y., Mattie and husband, Jacob, of Jefferson, Ohio, and Alvin, Moses, Enos and John of Ohio; his grandfather, Jacob A. Byler of Conewango Valley; his grandmother, Elizabeth Byler Miller of Pierpont, Ohio; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry; a grandfather, John H. Miller; and a grandmother, Mattie A. Miller Byler.

Friends may call at the family residence today from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and attend the funeral service there on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will be in Gravel Run Amish Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville.
