Edward Daniel Mahoney, 74, of Telford passed away on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at his residence.
Born in Beaver Township, he was a son of the late Edward P. and Anna Marie Fobes Mahoney and was a graduate of Conneaut Valley High School.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, he served from 1957 to 1961.
Mr. Mahoney was a member of Telford Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5308. He was a pilot and loved flying, but his greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by three daughters, Angela Kreidl and her husband, Pat, of Atlantic Beach, Fla., Chris Babcock and her husband, Dan, of Souderton, and Stacy Leidy and her husband, Brian, of Green Lane; four grandchildren, Rachel, Jada, Sienna and Zoe; and 16 brothers and sisters, Jim, Mary Ann, Theresa, Mike, Jane, Lucy, Bob, Cathi, Martin, Dennis, Tim, Joe, Beaty, Dorothy, Matt and Mark; as well as many in-laws and other family members.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George and John.
Funeral services will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
