Kathi L. Terwilliger

CARLTON — Kathi L. Terwilliger, 59, of Boy Scout Lane, Carlton, died on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at her residence.

She was born on November 21, 1953 in DuBois, a daughter of Albert E. Schoening of Ferndale, Mich., and the late Deloris Kehert Schoening.

Kathi moved to Ferndale as a young girl, where she was raised and educated. She graduated from Ferndale High School in 1971. Following her marriage, she lived in several locations while her husband was serving with the U.S. Army. Then, from February 1986 until May of 1989, she served with the U.S. Army. Kathi was stationed in Ft. Sill, Okla., and overseas in Germany. Following her discharge, she lived in Buells Corners from 1992 until 2005. They then moved to Carlton and she worked at Liberty Electronics for a few years. Several years ago she had owned and operated Kathi’s Karaoke around the Titusville area.  

She enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother, Kathi was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanine Schoening.

Besides her father, Kathi is survived by her husband, Theodore R. Terwilliger, whom she married on Oct. 14, 1977, in Johnsonburg; a daughter, Brittany Terwilliger of Rouseville; a son, Theodore E. Terwilliger of Carlton; a brother, Albert Schoening; and a granddaughter, Avery D. Terwilliger.

Family and friends are invited to call at Bracken Funeral Home, 211 Mechanic St., Spartansburg, Monday from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral there at 4 p.m. The Rev. Dave Williamson will officiate.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Spartansburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Custaloga Town Scout Reservation, French Creek Council, 1815 Robison Road West, Erie, Pa. 16509.
