William L. (Bill) Cutshall, 75, of Conneaut/Monroe Township, Ohio, died at his home Saturday evening, Oct. 27, 2012. He was born Sept. 19, 1937, in Meadville, a son of Lester T. Cutshall and Esther M. (Shaw) Cutshall Kapen.
A 1956 graduate of Conneaut High School, Bill served with the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960, and retired as a crane operator from ESAB in Ashtabula, Ohio. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, enjoying family feasts and get-togethers over the years. He was a former member of the Conneaut Moose Club and a member of AA for a number of years. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, spider solitaire, camping, traveling, friends, being in the out of doors and the yearly family camp-outs held at the cabin. Bill made many memories with his family in completing his “bucket list.”
Survivors include his wife Kathleen A. (Aldrich) Cutshall, whom he married Oct. 8, 1956; his son William L. “Larry” Cutshall of Clyde, Ohio; two daughters, Sheryl K. (Rick) Blood of Beaver Center and Linita LaRue of Monroe Township, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Angel, Rebecca, Laura, Ricky, James, Jesse, Joshua, Victoria, Kassandra and Judd; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra (Tom) Deane of Kane; an aunt, Emma Dailey; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be at the Marcy Funeral Home, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio, on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home, with Kenneth Plott officiating. Burial will be in Kelloggsville Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
