TELFORD — George Paul Mahoney, 75, of Telford, passed away at his residence Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012. He was the husband of the late Bridget McBride Mahoney.

Born at home, Jan. 2, 1937, in Conneautville, he was the second of 19 children to the late Edward and Anna Mae Fobes Mahoney, and was a 1954 graduate of Conneaut Valley Joint High School.

Mr. Mahoney was employed as a printer for Teleflex Inc. and Sermatech International.

He was a member of the Towne Restaurant Breakfast Club, Irish Joke Tellers of America, Fictional Fisherman’s Club and was an honorary member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Vespers Club.

He is survived by five children, Rocky Mahoney, Colleen Algeo and her husband, Bill, Shawn Mahoney, Robin Olsen and Lisa Dewey; 17 siblings, James, Edward, Mary Ann Mehalko, Theresa Bedford, Michael, Jane Lehman, Lucy Miceli, Robert, Catherine Braden, Martin, Dennis, Timothy, Joseph, Beatrice Mahoney, Dorothy Klees, Matthew and Mark; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin; and a brother, John.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service, Monday at 11 a.m. at Indian Creek Church of the Brethren, 821 Main St., Harleysville. A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m.

Interment will follow at Sellersville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in George’s name to the Indian Valley Public Library, 100 E. Church Road. Telford, Pa. 18969.
