HADLEY — Sarah A. Miller, 62, of 3716 Perry Highway, Hadley (Sandy Creek Township), passed away at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a five-week illness.
She was born in Grove City Jan. 26, 1945, a daughter of the late Albert B. and Amanda E. Miller Byler. On Dec. 26, 1964, she married John A. Miller, who survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of Milledgeville Community Church. She also had been a prep cook at the Stone Arch in Greenville and a nurse’s aide at the Peaceful Rest Home in Cochranton.
Sarah had a passion for gardening, quilting and canning and enjoyed attending the Mercer Auction. She enjoyed bluegrass jam sessions with her husband. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the moments she could share with her family.
In addition to her husband of 42 years, she is survived by two daughters, Sherry Lynn Miller of Hadley, and Loriann Beck and her husband, Bruce, of Hadley; two sons, Ronald Jay Miller and his wife, Linda, of Geneva, and Daryl Eugene Miller and his fiancée, Renee Bailey, of Hadley; six sisters, Barbara Miller and her husband, Jonas, of Quaker City, Ohio, Nancy Hostetler and her husband, John, of Fredonia, Saloma Byler of Transfer, Martha Byler of Clarks Mills, Emma Byler of Fredonia, and Mary Schlabach and her husband, Wallie, of Smicksburg; eight brothers, Eli Byler and his wife, Anna, of Fredonia, John Byler and his wife, Mary, of Fredonia, Ben Byler of Greenville, Albert Byler Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Fredonia, Joseph Byler of Cresco, Jacob Byler and his wife, Susan, of Atlantic, Harvey Byler and his wife, Emma, of Fredonia, and Tobias Byler and his wife, Anna Mary, of Clarks Mills; five grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several nephews.

Mary Lou Longstreth Brown, 86, of Erie, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Millcreek Manor. She was born July 25, 1927, in West Virginia, a daughter of the late William and Estelle Baker Longstreth, and had resided in the Erie area for most of her life.
