John L. Hollenbeck, 82, of Conneautville died Friday Nov. 29, 2013, at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community.
He was born Feb. 3, 1931, in Meadville, to the late John Dorr Hollenbeck and Florence Pearl Coon Hollenbeck.
John was a school bus driver for Wallace Hyde Bus Company for many years, he also worked for Greenleaf Corporation and was owner/operator of his own farm (Blossom Val). Farming and family were his passion. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his cows.
John is survived by two daughters, Lynn (Gary) Cocolin of Conneautville and Renee (Kurt) Morini of Conneautville; a sister, Marian VanBuran of Conneautville; two brothers, Lawrence of Saegertown and Richard of Arizona; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Kyle Mattera and Elizabeth and Haylee Morini, all of Conneautville; and four great-grandchildren, Adyson and Coltin Mattera, Tearney and Tristian Ball.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Clair Hollenbeck.
Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St., Conneautville, where the funeral service will begin directly following calling hours at 2. Pastor Loren Little will be officiating.
