MEADVILLE — Donald Alfred Joliet, 66, of Meadville, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at his residence.

Donald was born Nov. 3, 1947, at Meadville; a son of Donald Louis Joliet and Ruth Irene Ridle (Joliet).

He attended Meadville High School. During his lifetime he worked in food service in Rochester, N.Y., and more recently he was a cab driver for the Lafayette Taxi Company in Meadville.

Donald loved to fish, play cards, play bingo and watch the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Survivors include two children, Lucinda and Donald; three sisters, Marsha Wagner and her husband, Robert, of Meadville, Nancy Joliet Marino of Euclid, Ohio, and Susan Barackman and her companion, Carl Spring, of Rumney, N.H.; four brothers, James Joliet and his wife, Patty, of Meadville, John Joliet of Cooperstown, Thomas Joliet of Meadville and Paul Joliet of Meadville.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ruthie Joliet; and his twin brother, David.

Arrangements are private and have been entrusted to Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville.
