Agnes Theresa Duda Boban, 94, of Conneautville, passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Rolling Fields Inc.
She was born in Evansville, Ill., on Jan. 8, 1919, a daughter of the late Anna Pushcar and Martin Duda. She married Anthony T. Boban Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1993.
In addition to being a homemaker, she worked intermittently outside the home, working at the Albro and the Ohio Rubber Company as well as cooking and cleaning at Rolling Fields.
She loved to read, crochet and gardening. She and her husband owned and operated the family farm on Shadeland Road for many years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Conneautville, where she was very active in the Altar and Rosary Society and held the office of treasurer at one time. She enjoyed helping with all church dinners.
Survivors include two sons, Arnold M. Boban and his wife, Mary, of Springboro, and Anthony T. (Tony) Boban Jr. and his wife, Brenda, of Springboro; two daughters, Agnes (Honey) Medrick and her husband, Paul, of Meadville, and Susan VanBuren of Meadville; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Boban of Albion; two brothers, Steve Duda of Albion and John (JJ) Duda and his wife, Muriel, of Florida; a sister, Geneve Miller of Florida; 26 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sons, Vincent and James; a daughter, Ann Helen Stroup and her husband, John; a brother, Abe and his wife, Mary; two daughters-in-law, Bonnie and Nancy; three sisters, Ida, Maria and Margaret; a sister-in-law, Grace Duda; and two infant grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St. Conneautville.
Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Conneautville. The Rev. Fr. Dennis Veltri will be celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
