Sarah (Sally) L. Kiser, 78, of 20881 State Highway 198, Saegertown, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown.
Sally was born at home in Saegertown on Aug. 14, 1934, a daughter of the late Harold and Ellen Lenhart. On July 24, 1971, Sally married Donald Lee Kiser; he preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 1992. She was previously married to Cecil Wagner, who preceded her in death on April 5, 2002.
Over the years, Sally had been employed by the former Talon Inc. and as a seamstress by the former Carlisle’s Department Store, both of Meadville. Also working out of her home, Sally’s sewing skills were sought out by many families.
She enjoyed playing bingo. Her favorite time of year was the Christmas season and she made it extra special for everyone.
Sally is survived by a daughter, Karen L. White and her husband, Jeff, of Punxsutawney; two grandchildren, Lori Cox and her husband, Junior, of Clarks Mills, and Candace Steinberg and her significant other, Christopher Tomsey, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, Radek Cox and Darian Cox; a brother, Eugene Lenhart and his wife, Mae, of Saegertown; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Donald, of 21 years, Sally was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lenhart; and three sisters, Eileen Owens, Jeanette McBroom and Louise.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of family.
Interment will take place in Saegertown Cemetery, Hayfield Township.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
