TOWNVILLE — Hazen F. Collins of 33248 N. Main St., Townville, peacefully passed away at his residence Friday, June 21, 2013.

Born May 3, 1930, in Bradleytown, he was a son of Clarence Glen Collins and Sylvia Jane Wright. Hazen married Patricia Wood on Aug. 31, 1951.

He was a graduate of Titusville High School.

Hazen was a veteran of the U.S. Army, which he served from 1951 to 1954.

He retired from Chanellock after 34 years of service. He attended Townville United Methodist Church.

Hazen loved to farm and watch his animals grow.

Survivors, in addition to his wife of 61 years, include a daughter, Cathleen Collins of Meadville; two sons, Ronald and his wife, Patricia Collins, of New Wilmington, and Alan and his wife, Marcie Collins, of Meadville; five grandchildren, Keirsten Seiger, Justin Collins, Amanda Hough, Amy Collins and Dawn Collins; three great-grandchildren, Zoe Seiger, Kali Seiger and Olivia Przepiora; a sister, Genevieve Neff of Saegertown; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Isobel Yates, Gladys Manning and Velma Collins.

Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Willis. L Arnold Funeral Home, Townville.

A funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Frank Weingard officiating.

Interment will be in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville.
