MEADVILLE — John (Jack) Victor Fletcher, 90, of Middle Road, Meadville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Crawford County Care Center.

He was born Feb. 12, 1922, in Sheakleyville, a son of Henry Fletcher and Louise Rau Fletcher. He married Lillian Rae Loughner on Sept. 24, 1955; she preceded him in death Oct. 31, 2009.

He was employed by Talon before going to work for 5M Milling in Springboro, where he was employed as a manager for more than 30 years. He worked part-time after retirement at Meadville Farm and Garden.

Jack enjoyed his family, fishing, especially his many fishing trips to Canada with the 5M group, gardening, playing cards and working.

He is survived by four sons, Jacky Loughner and his wife, Debbie, of Fort Lupton, Colo., Mark Fletcher and his wife, Connie, of Harmonsburg, Ricky Fletcher and his wife, Kelly, of Geneva, Ill., and Jon Fletcher and his wife, Caryn, of Conneaut Lake; three daughters, Cindy Haas and her husband, Scott, of Meadville, Debbie Gladis and her husband, Patrick, of Meadville, and Betty Lou Conover of Hadley; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a close niece, Janet North and her husband, Bill, of Mercer; a sister, Louise (Toots) Ray of Stoneboro; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his loving wife, Lillian, of 54 years, he was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Kate Simmons Kelly and Ellen F. Drew; and two brothers, William H. Fletcher and Thomas E. Fletcher.

Family and friends are welcome to call on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Joe Kaufer, chaplain of Southern Care Hospice, officiating.

Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Vernon Township.
