SAEGERTOWN — Rose Mary Walker, 69, known to her family as Mickey, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown.

Rose Mary was born in Meadville on Aug. 20, 1943, a daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Krauss) Walker.

She was of the Catholic faith. Rose Mary was a longtime resident and the beneficiary of the loving care and wonderful companionship of the residents and staff of Quality Living Center, Saegertown. She was a former resident of the Hillcrest community.

Rose Mary had been a member of the Oasis Club and a participant of Vallonia Industries. She was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. A lover of arts and crafts, she was also a giver of gifts. Rose Mary will be remembered as a lady of gracious greetings and good will with positive words for everyone she met.

Rose Mary is survived by a brother-in-law, Richard Welsh of Pittsburgh; three nephews, Dr. Larry Welsh of Westlake, Ohio, Scott Welsh of North Olmsted, Ohio, and Brett Welsh of Fallston, Md.; first cousins, Christine (Kit) Lang of Meadville and Grace Davis of Cleveland; and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Dorothy Welsh.

A memorial service will be held at a future date, which will be announced.

Interment will take place in St. Hippolyte Cemetery, Guys Mills.

Memorial contributions may be made to the activity fund of Quality Living Center, 16871 Craig Road, Saegertown, Pa. 16433.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
